A family story, served by the sea since 2000.

 

Our family has been serving food in Agios Gordios since 1992, when we began our journey at Taverna ARGO, located on the main road of Agios Gordios. In 2000, our story continued with the opening of Thalassa Family Restaurant by the sea, where we have proudly welcomed guests ever since.

 

Through all these years, our philosophy has remained the same: fresh local ingredients, honest cooking and genuine Greek hospitality.

 

From our traditional wood-fired oven and freshly prepared seafood to homemade Greek dishes, wood-fired pizzas and carefully selected wines, everything we serve is prepared with love and respect for the flavours of our island.

 

We are proud to use ingredients connected to our family and our home in Corfu — including our own olive oil, local products and wines from our family vineyards in Pentati. Even the olive wood used in our oven comes from our family olive trees.

 

But Thalassa is more than just a restaurant.

 

It is a place where families meet, friends share a meal, returning guests feel at home and new visitors become part of our story.
