Thalassa Restaurant Wine Bar has been at the very center of Agios Gordios since 2000, offering customers something more than a meal—its an experience with tradition, family, and the essence of Corfu life.
Our history began with our vision to share a haven where people can enjoy true taste while they feel home. In the center of our kitchen stands a wood-fired oven, a much-loved symbol of Corfiot food. It is not a tool; it's a tribute to the past generations who believed in the charm of plain, authentic food. From crispy golden bread crusts to pizzas with just-crisped crusts and slow-cooked meats infused with the deep, smoky aromas, every meal is the very essence of this ancient art.

Even as the summer months go by, our family remains firmly entrenched in the Thalassa way of life. During the winter months, we continue to practice traditions that keep us close to where we began. We harvest olives from our groves to produce pure, full-flavored oil reserved only for our recipes. Fishing, a passion we share, allows us to learn the rhythms of the sea and continue our commitment to fresh, local ingredients.
